 By DALE

What a Living Constitution Really Means
The United States has gone too far. In the
world that is present today it is evident that the United States has
exceeded its Constitutional Boundaries. The Constitution as first
written was written with three principal ideals that were written into
a brilliant document that we hold dear as Americans named the
Constitution of the United States of America. The three principals
that are guaranteed are those of the right to life, liberty, and the
Pursuit of Happiness. With these three things we as people can retain
and build upon the foundation of the U.S. Constitution to a bigger and
greater America.

Why One U.S. Airman Fears an Obama Victory Barack Obama recently suggested that John McCain's willingness to stay in Iraq until the war is won means the presumptive Republican nominee can't possibly want genuine freedom for Iraqis -- an assertion that reflects Obama's now unsurprising inability to see the very nuanced complexities of war and foreign policy. He's gotten considerable flack from Republicans and Democrats for his celebratory world tour and the many speeches he delivered while overseas, and he's been called presumptuous and arrogant. If Obama wants to appear more "everyman," he needs to spend less time speaking, and more time listening.

Yet Another Mouthy San Francisco Moment Caught on the Record
Many years back, every year
with tongue in cheek, a local store used to run what they called a “Christmas
In July” sale. With Howard “Sonny” Dean
at the helm of the Democratic National Committee, every day of every month of
every year is Christmas for the Republicans.
He is the “gift that keeps on giving.”
Why do I call Dean “Sonny”?
Sonny is the mascot for a particular breakfast cereal, and the
Chairman’s resemblance is not only physical, but when he attempts to converse
or communicate, the similarity is downright eerie.

New Islamic Call for "Dialogue" Arouses Suspicion
A June 7, 2008, news
release posted on middle-east-online.com
was heralded with a Goebbelsian headline: Muslim scholars back Saudi call for
interfaith dialogue. This very warm and fuzzy sounding concoction is meant to convey the idea
that the Islamic scholars and the Saudis wish to encourage mutually beneficial
dialogue. Simply put, there is nothing that could be further from the truth.
In
the first paragraph, we are told that after a three-day meeting in Mecca, Saudi
Arabia, the scholars ended their conference by suggesting there should be
"efforts to boost dialogue with Christians and Jews." This
"feel-good" statement from Mecca—the Islamic Holy City that forbids
entrance to Christians and Jews, and all other infidels for that matter—rings
hollow.

Would Knowledge of the Edwards Affair Have Resulted in a Clinton Victory?
An almost overwhelming amount of jaw jacking and useless
speculation as of late has been forwarded about the possibility of “what could
have been” had “The North Carolina Cad” been honest about his Bill Clinton/Gary
Hart escapades with another Monica Lewinsky/Donna Rice wanna-be. Only this
particular coquette ended up inconveniently gravid. Edwards should have considered taking up Bill’s proclivity
towards utilizing his mistresses as humidors and things might have “turned out
differently.” Then again, speculation and wondering if “things would have
turned out differently” is what recent “news” has been about.
